I didn't mean my name when i asked for feedback :p But u'r right Death Note kinda ruined the name since it's so popular these days. Almost everyone knows what a Shinigami is. It originally was designed as a name for otakus who are interested in japanese mythology. I didn't even know about Death Note back then.
