Hello, recently im look the Zandronum Engine to play some Doom Mods, and i found a software called 'Wadseeker' Licensed under the LGPL.

It looks like it uses Qt, which would add extra stuff to the Tess binary.
Edit: And it would be probably be easier to recode it from scratch.

Yes, but can run outside from engine. Not intrusive code.

Why use something heavy like QT for it. Id rather have it in simple C or Assembler. Its a useful program but could really use a rewrite just to include features that are necessary for Tesseract if we even consider adding it.
Id rather just take some of its ideas and expand ingame server selection screen.

Sending .cfg, .jpg, .wpt, .txt (additional map files) is not hard to do, it has been done in Red Eclipse which is based on Sauerbraten.
