Re: Feedback

I also want to say thank you for share your work. The game looks very good. The weapons are also nice, special mention to the plasma cannon :D.

The Map editing was very enjoyable, like the visual effects.

I hope in a future I can collaborate with something , like 3d models, maps, ideas.

Good bye!, :D

Re: Feedback

Thanks for this game. I love the aesthetics. This is what I expected Shootmania to be like. Renders fast on my average GPU, even with real time shadows. Looks simple and slick, very sportive. Great player models. Plays like Sauerbraten, which is a good thing. Great work!

One thing that always annoyed me at Sauerbraten: There's no audio feedback when you hit an opponent. Especially in insta I often don't know immediately if I fragged an opponent. Some bling sound like in Quake Live would be nice. But that's details.

In Sauer there has been a hit ping for many many years now... just do /hitsound 1

You didn't know? :)

Re: Feedback

Good to know. I only play Sauer casually every now and then, didn't mess around with the options much.

Re: Feedback

eihrul: /hitsound 1 in Tesseract doesn't seem to do anything.

It already is. You probably have an old config/saved.cfg

Re: Feedback

Would you change the name of the archive to latest.archive or some other steady name? e.g tesseract-latest.tar.xz . I made a port for FreeBSD i don't know if or when it will be available in ports.

Allright - I've seen it. I had 20140511 archive installation.
