Hey guys!
I found a new activity this weekend. I went through my hometown and took several photos of the ground, windows, doors and stuff like that. Then I edited them and created spec, bump, heightmaps for most of the textures. The results are some "photorealistic textures". I hope that's the right word for it.
I just started a few hours ago so these are not the final results. Well it was quite interesting and it is nice to see, that there is "a part of your city in the game" ;). By the way: The photos were taken in Fulda, Germany.
Here are some pictures of my photorealistic texture pack. It contains 20 textures:
And for the reference the original photo of the drain cover and the window:

Great stuff! It's good to see textures as high quality as the engine :)

It would be very appreciated if you released them under a free/libre license, like CC0, CC BY or CC BY-SA.
This way, you could also upload it to OpenGameArt.

Thanks for the feedback. I will upload it soon and everything will be free to use. I am currently working to complete the texture pack and later on I will probably add some stuff from time to time. I'll post the downloadlink in the first post when it's finished ;)

Hello!
The texture pack is now available for download. Please give me some feedback. I hope that everything works the way it should and that the readme.txt is understandable.
What are you using to make the spec, bump, heightmaps?
I'm using Crazybump and Photoshop.
Have a good night,

I think the word you're looking for is 'hyper realistic' but semantics etc. Beautiful textures mate, thanks!
