Having the quit button quit the game instantly can be annoying at times, especially if you are prone to misclicking. Would it be possible to add a little dialog box that asks players to confirm they want to quit? This would prevent many accidental quits, at least for me.

Not by default (at least outside of Edit mode). No loss of data is done if you quit the game, except in Edit mode.

Submit me a script for a small quit dialog with a checkbox to not show again and I'll integrate it.
