Non-insta weapons?

So... yeah. Everything is nice, but are there plans for adding non-insta weapons (and healhbar) to the game?

I'm wondering the same thing. I understand most of the work that has been done on Tesseract is to improve the engine, but I wish at least Sauerbraten's gameplay was still there.

No. There are no plans for that kind of stuff whatsoever.
It wasn't supposed to be like Sauerbraten to begin with, the idea was to make something different.

Thump (a mod of tesseract) has a bare bones health and ammo system :3
