Since this appears to be an issue with my environment, I'll not post in the bugs section.
I'm running Mac OSX 10.11.1.
Anyway, upon running the Tesseract binary, it crashes in the OpenGL init stage:
init: sdl init: net init: game init: video init: gl Renderer: (null) ((null)) Driver: (null) Segmentation fault: 11
This wasn't happening a few weeks ago for me (running with same Tesseract version) and I didn't (to my knowledge) change anything in my environment that would affect this. Does anyone have a clue to what might be going on?

I just found something that may have been the culprit... we'll see.
