How use png transparent texture?

Hii there,

is possible to use a png texture with transparent part, like this?

No, unfortunately not. If it was used on a model, it could be, but not on geometry.

Yes, but as far as i've seen transparency from PNG textures is dropped. Try saving it as TGA, last i checked that worked :)

Of course i could be wrong with this so try both just in case.

Thanks guys, but png is KO and tga is KO too.

i use this configuration in .tex file

setshader "stdworld"
   texture 0 "text/metal_01_d.tga"
