Hello.
Have tried every thing. Cannot get server to show up on lan.
Machine is running Fedora 20.
Connected to switch via cable.
I have set up server config file.
Have opened up TCP and UDP ports on firewall.
Just refuses to show up.
Any suggestions?
Regards.
Moi.

EDIT

Ok, so I got it working ...
Here is the problem ...
This server is running on Linux (Fedora 20)
The clients also run Linux... (Mint and Fedora)
And an old clunker with Windows XP.
Both the server and the client default to port 42000.
Regardless of the config file.
The documentation is scant at best, and the Cube 2 help says that it defaults to 8785....
I cant figure out how to set up an editing server,
Otherwise its working ...
Cheers,
Moi.

Would be great if you added the following information:
2) Your GPU and OpenGL version (shown in-game on start-up as the "Renderer:" and "Driver:" lines)
3) Which version of Tesseract you used
Also its a common problem with all games, entirely depends on your network connection settings. I can't play anything properly on LAN, took me forever and i finally just switched to Hamachi to save the trouble of messing around for days.

Why would #2 and #3 even matter in this case..
If you're starting a server you'll want to make sure you've forwarded port 42000 (or your custom one, if you deviated from the default) on UDP for incoming/outcoming traffic. That should be all that is required for the server to show up on the master really. Let us know how that goes.
