2 Questions

I have 2 questions for tesseract :)

1. How do I move my selection in edit mode (used to select, then hold shift and move mouse to move your selection in cube 2 sauerbraten).

2. How would I go about importing models and using them in tesseract, I'd like to specifically import this one.

Thank you, and I'd like to let you guys know i'm working on 2 different maps for tesseract.
- An Airport
- Urban city block

Message me if you'd like to help. I am an experienced mapper and have been in Cubic Matter, Fanatic Mappers, and S3.

Re: 2 Questions

As long as they are .obj, models should work without any modifications but heres someone trying to do the same thing: http://tesseract.gg/forum/viewtopic.php?id=169

"Turns out that loading multiple textures seems to be a real job for tesseract, so i've just made one texture for all my models instead"

Make sure you get obj.cfg set up right.

Re: 2 Questions

Thank you but that information did not help me :( Instead could you reply with a more detailed guide to importing .obj models and how to set up the .cfg file? thanks :) I think it would help a lot of us who play the game and just make maps as I have no idea the programming side of tesseract, I just want to make cool maps for you guys to play :)

I have yet to find out how to move my selection also... this little tweak has slowed my editing down in tesseract quite a lot.

Figure it out yourself? Thats not exactly the way to promote the engine.

Gear: stop by the irc channel, we'lll get it working.

Chill.

Not everyone is and expert here on everything.

IRC is a good idea.

True, but still better to just say that you just don't know how to help than tell the other guy to go figure it out himself. It's like you're saying "no one here can help you" :P
